3. Into the J4F-verse and future planning

   ough, exams are over, for this semester. I may still have to study because i didn't pass on one, but for now I'm able to take a break

   Now that i can spend more time tinkering again I'm planning my future projects.
   We're still wanting to learn blender, but creative work like this (as with drawing) needs a type of motivation I seldom have...
   With the further enshittification of discord we're looking for alternative Platforms to Host the Just4Fun Guild, but regardless what we choose not everyone will make the switch.
   Then I found something called Matterbridge, and an Idea clicked into place: Using our hosting capabilities we could create a J4F-Guild/Server on multiple services, and connect them all together to a J4F-verse (infos found here: j4f.fantasydragon.xyz once i have something set up). With this everyone can use their favorite platform (at least for text posting, Voicechat is something different... Still have to test which discord alternatives do this best) and others will still be able to see it. Planned platforms are Stoat.chat, fluxer, XMPP, Matrix, IRC, maybe Teamspeak (but more info in aforementioned link).
   Of course this brings the caveat of not being encrypted, but discord rn isn't either.

   In other news, I set up wol on our gameserver (the one that hosted (not anymore due to inactivity) the FFC minecraft servers) (We tried before but remember it being too difficult to figure out, guess 2 years additional linux XP make a difference) and we might try hosting other games there too (currently on-demand avorion, future vintagestory and ARK-se might be coming), but so far they're all private. We looked into SpaceEngineers, but there's no linux server available .w.
   

   Oh yeah, and the project to continue working on all the fantasydragon.xyz webpages is still going. No personal website without permanent 'under construction' banners.

4. Blog update

   Tinkering with php to display my blog entries. working okay-ish so far, but for some reason the CDATA sections are kinda inconsistent (working on my rss feed and not working on others vs displaying the fish tail on mine, but others working)(I am so confused because as far as i can tell the xml syntax is the same)
   (I literally have an exam coming up on Monday, I should not be doing this >w<)

   I even made a page where i can display the recent blog posts of my friends :3
